Hi I'm Kathryn! (You can call me Kat.)

Remember when were young and it felt like anything was possible? Me too! You were so badass.
You couldn't wait to be an adult and change all the rules (or just get drunk and watch the world burn). Good times. Magic, actually; if I could bottle that shit I would be a billionaire. It's sex, drugs, and miracles. It writes the songs that make you cry, overthrows the unjust, and paints your soul.
Well, you know what? We made it. We're the grown-ups now. Holy shit!
And all the things that mattered then -- they still matter. Adulthood is like a tempering process: into the fire, out of the fire, strong and shining. Or if you prefer, a refining through with bullshit is filtered out, your essence distilled. It's not for beginners, part-timers, or dabblers of any kind. Tom Waits was not built in a day.
I feel more powerful than ever, like I have enough love and rage to big bang another solar system into existence. How about you?
I invite you to join me on this leg of my creative journey.
I'd love to know where the road finds you, too. Let me know what's on your mind. xo K

Some things I found at the Thrift Store.

I didn't buy them but I still might, if they are still there, I surely need a wise rabbit to hold my wooden kitchen spoons. Or my paint brushes.

Please note, the rabbit comes with photos -- an old black and white photo of a young man, and a newer colour photo of some little kids from the 80s or 90s. Weird right? I'm thinking the previous owner's husband and grand kids. I think she's passed on; people don't really discard things like that.

The bud vases I think are from the 50s, and awesome. The rabbit I'm not sure about in terms of a date. It's in great condition, maybe the 60s?

I am hesitant to buy ceramics because of the large amount of pottery that has been broken on the cement floor of my apartment in the 2.5 years that I have been living here.
